Not what we hoped for!

I just got the phone call that our embassy appt. is July 3. The embassy is closed on July 4, so we can't pick up the visa until the 5th, and fly home on the 6th. The embassy here assured our senator that we would receive a faster appt. I just called the embassy and left a message telling them our situation. Andrew and the boys will be here June 24-29. We can't afford to change the airline tickets and have them stay 2 weeks. I am just crying. I don't know if I can stand them leaving me here for another week. Please pray that the embassy workers' hearts are softened and that they grant us an earlier appt. Anne Pearce goes to her final drs' appt. tomorrow afternoon. After that is over we can have an appt. at any time. Andrew is going to the embassy Monday morning to plead our case. Please pray! I miss my family and friends so much and am SO ready to be home. I'm fine here with Nat.....I just miss normal life......I just don't know how I will take Andrew leaving me, but if I have to I will do it!

We are praying that they change the apt. and you ALL can come home on the 29th!! Remember, God IS in control even when it does not feel like it. "For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not harm you to give you a future and a hope." (Jer. 29:11)

Love you both, Lisa

As hard as this is right now, you need to believe that everything will go according to God's plan for you. He will not let you down. I know it's hard to see the good in this but I just know that He's working something out for you and your family that will benefit all of you. Stay strong, you WILL get through this!

Lou, I am so sorry for the extra time you will need to wait for your appointment. Today I layed my hands on yours and AP's picture and prayed for God to speed things up, but if that was not in His grand plan, I asked Him to help you understand and to strengthen you. He DOES have a plan you know. I know your heart is broken. Mine breaks for you as I type this to you. Please know that there is a reason. All is not said and done just yet, either. So keep looking up and let God do his work. He is so good and He loves you so much and He is honoring you and your family for this wonderful step you have taken to bring this beautiful child into your family. Keep the faith and know you are completely covered in prayers.

Lovealee,
Mimi

Sweetie, you know that if I hadn't just lost my job I would book a plane ticket and come stay that last week with you. Hold on, hold on. God is faithful. You've pulled me through so much lately, I just wish I could do more for you. I love you.
