Embassy???? Check!!!!!

Our appt. at the embassy is DONE and was pretty uneventful. I still couldn't believe that we were there and that we ARE DONE! Anne Pearce likes to sleep late in the mornings, and she didn't like being up that early. When we got back to the hotel she took a 2 hour nap.....Mommy did too! So now we wait until Monday afternoon when Andrew will go pick up her visa, and then we COME HOME TUESDAY morning!!!!! WHOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO!! We are all enjoying being together, but we are so ready to be back home. I miss Alabama food!!!!! Here are some pics of AP eating her lunch. She GAGGED over the peas! Hayden caught her famous eyerolling on video. You have to suffer through some random taping, but watch for it.....it's there!

Embassy day tomorrow!

I can't believe it! Tomorrow we go to the embassy for our appt. to get AP's visa. Then all we have to do is WAIT to pick it up Monday afternoon and fly home Tuesday morning. I am so ready to see all of my family and friends. I'm sure no one will care about seeing me though! It's all AP!!!! I will post some more pics tomorrow...... Oh, by the way....Anne Pearce has EIGHT teeth now... Aunt Jenny says to go buy that girl a steak and baked potato tomorrow.

Oh my, have we been waiting for this day!!!! Alisha has been such a support to me during this entire process! We have emailed and talked constantly to keep each other sane....Today we all had lunch together and met each other's daughters. Of course, I was crying my eyes out! It was really wonderful to be all together. Noah swam with my boys, and Mari hung out with us. Can I just tell you all what a beautiful girl she is??? She is amazing. Hayden loved Noah, and he has him wanting to adopt a little brother from Guatemala. I told him we would love to , but we didn't have the money. He said, "We didn't have the money with Anne Pearce either". From the mouths of babes.......He certainly got us all thinking. Anyway, here are some pics from today.

Things are great in Guatemala!

We are all having a great time becoming a family. I have to tell you all that Anne Pearce has all of the men in our family wrapped around her cute little finger! They do whatever she wants them to! She immediately clicked with both of them, and they are in heaven. We were able to move into a bi-level suite today, so we aren't on top of each other any more. That helps A LOT! We were thrilled today to realize that one week from now we will be home! I can't wait to land in Mobile and share Anne Pearce with everyone. She brings so much joy to us, and I know she will spread it around. Her godmother, Karen, has scheduled her baptism for July 15 at the 11:00 service. Everyone is welcome who wants to come....... We will also be planning a lunch somewhere together afterwards. I can't wait to get that baby in our church and give her right back to God! That will be such a full circle moment for our family. He led us to Anne Pearce and gave us the strength and resources to pursue her adoption. Now we will dedicate her life to Him! We are praying that we have a wonderful safe week here in Guatemala. Tomorrow we are headed to Antigua, so I will have lots of pics. These are some from the last couple of days.

Anne Pearce is the MOST limber baby I have ever seen. We are all amazed by the things she can do with her body. Look how she fell asleep the other night!
