We see airplanes taking off all the time by the pool. They are so close! Precious Kennedy Me being attacked by kids! That guy in the background is a famous Guatemalan soccer player. Splish Splash All of us Sweet Bella
The girls
Yesterday Jorge brought his children to swim with us. We all had a wonderful time. I will miss my friend dearly when I go home. His wife, Sandra, made me a beautiful bag! We are counting the hours until we are on the way home.....I just wish I could bring Natalie, Kennedy, and Bella with us!
I love the pictures. A.P. is a doll in her matching bathing suit and hat. I'm glad you got to have some fun with Jorge and his family. I bet the bag is beautiful. What a wonderful gesture of love from his wife. I'll pray for safe travels for you and your family. I can't wait to see the homecoming pictures. Love, Kathi
I miss MY friend dearly now. COME HOME :-) It looks like you had a ball in the pool. Such beautiful babies (& grown-ups too, of course) This has been such a wonderful experience for you all. Amazing memories to treasure forever. We'll see you very soon.
OK, I know Guatemala and all that it entailed was great, but home is where you need to be now!! Only one more full day there and you'll be headed home!!! YEA!!!!!!!!!! Hurry Tuesday! lovealee, daisy
I have been a "lurker" for a while now . . . but just had to tell you how much I have enjoyed following your journey to bringing AP home. You have such a beautiful family and AP is adorable! We are adopting from Guatemala, too, and are 5 weeks into PGN. It has been fun to see your travels in Guatemala and know that one day soon we will be there as well - bringing home our little girl!
You are so blessed! Enjoy every minute with your new daughter. We will be praying for safe travels as you journey HOME!
Your pictures are super! What a wonderful way to remember such an experience. I'm thrilled for your family that you'll be going home tomorrow. How blessed you are!! There's another family from Birmingham adopting a son from Guatemala. Her grandparents live in SC and go to church with J.P.'s aunt. Andrea can fill you in later. Praying for a safe trip back to "Dixie" where we ALL belong!! Love, Andrea's Mom and J.P.'s Nana Faye
"Tomorrow, Tomorrow, I love ya Tomorrow your only a day AWAY!" What a beautiful story that I have been blessed to read and enjoy. She looks like your sons! God bless you AP and family.

Check out one of my favorite sites!
One of our fellow Guatemamas, Stacy, is the owner of LittleClippies.com. She makes beautiful bows, AND she gives fellow Guatemamas discounts! Anne Pearce is pictured in her gallery. Check it out when you visit! Just make sure you ask her in the comment section what the discount is, and let her know I sent you there!
I'm a follower of Jesus, wife to Andrew, mama to Logan, Hayden, Anne Pearce, Essie, and to a precious baby we haven't met yet. I love to sew, and I make most of my girlie's clothes. Crocheting is also something I love doing. I never sit still. I always have something in my hands. At age 41 I have had a pacemaker for 8 years, and I battle a condition called dysautonomia everyday. Most days I win. :)This blog is about Jesus and me...all the things that happen in my life and how He leads me.
