Am Ex Points

EDITED TO ADD:
Hey, this is Nat again. OK...we can transfer Continental miles, however, the transfer fees are ridiculous. We have found out that it is SO much easier and less expensive to transfer Am Ex points. So far, we have already received 36,000 Am Ex points...thank you!!!! We are looking at needing 105,000 points to purchase Andrew and Anne Pearce's tickets. Again, just leave a comment if you would like to help and I will get in contact with each of you!

THANK YOU!!!!!!!! You are all amazing!

Hey everyone! This is Natalie. First of all, I just want to express my gratitude to all of the WONDERFUL people who have already jumped at the chance to help get Lou, Andrew and Anne Pearce to Guatemala next week to sign the POA to continue Essie's adoption. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!! It is GREATLY appreciated. This is so very humbling. It just means so much to us all.

OK....so I've been trying to figure out a way for us to transfer our Continental miles to Lou's account. So far I am not finding anything to let me know that this is even possible. I will be making some phone calls in the morning, when the One Pass department opens. If any of you know IF and HOW we can do this...please go over to my blog and leave a message or leave a message here...I will be checking. Thank you so much!

Also, even better....we just realized that people can transfer their AM EX points directly to someone else's Continental One Pass account! That is great! We have already received one very generous donation through the Am Ex route! So, this is fabulous to know that if you don't have any Continental miles, but you'd still like to help, you can also transfer your Am Ex points!
Thank you again for your kindness and generosity! Our blog buddies never seem to amaze us! We love you all!!!

Lou and Natalie,

I do not have points to donate but please read....

I stumbled across your blogs early in the summer and I check in often. I check in with another blog often and that family is in a similar situation as Lou. However, they already have a POA for a baby girl in Guatemala and are facing some obstacles. Perhaps there is some kind of support and information you can offer eachother. I feel drawn by God to share this information with you.

Please check out their website. They have a wonderful testimony!

WOW! WOW! WOW! I think I have seen Esther before....not sure where.........I AM SO EXCITED I WANT TO SCREAM!!! I am cheering you on from Franklin, TN. Okay, plus you talking to the embassy has given me a ton of hope. If you have a POA registered....are you going to be "grandfathered" in?? Pray we get our immigration approval ASAP!! Maybe we'll be going to get our little girls at the same time. I am SO PROUD of y'all....for risking and for loving another little girl!!! She is going to have one incredible family.

Praying and hoping,
Lindsey Wheeler

2 questions:
1. if we have an Amex card do we automatically have points?

2. Can we send cash?

We have 1,136 Am-ex points to give. It is not much but we do not use our card that much. If it was Visa then damn you be set! Let me know what to do.

I wondered if you were going to take the plunge!! I'm so sorry that I don't have either AmEx points or Continental flyer miles.

If someone does have enough miles to get you a ticket, they can just issue the ticket in your name. My best friend's brother died the year before we got Alex. He traveled a lot for work, and had a lot of frequent flyer miles. They gave us the miles and there weren't any transfer fees - they just issued the tickets in our name. Just something to think about.

I'll be praying for you guys!!
