In the pre-adoption days, I LOVED the weekend. LOVED laying around, reading a good book, or visiting with friends. In the adoption days though, I can't stand weekends!!! I love having Drew and the boys home with me, but I know it's impossible to hear any news at all. Anyone else feel this way? It's like we LIVE for Mondays and the HOPE that our agency got some email late Friday afternoon that they will immediately send us on Monday morning! I have been praying since Thursday that we were re-submitted on Friday. Hopefully we will find out tomorrow. On another note, Congrats to Andrea and JP! They are out of PGN!!!!! They had a resubmit day of MARCH 27!!!!! That gives me hope that AP will be back in and OUT quickly! I am so happy for Andrea. She is such a good Christian woman, and I feel blessed to know her. Well, here's to a happy Sunday for everyone and for good news for us all next week!!!
love to all,
lou

Lou, you are just precious...such an encouragement and blessing to me. I will be sure to give Eloisa loving from her Auntie Lou! I totally hear you about how I used to live for the weekends and now I live for Monday and the whole week really because I want people WORKING to bring Eloisa home! :) I'm glad I'm not the only one!
Monday, Monday... (wasn't that an old song??) anyway, here's hoping Monday is as good as it is in our thoughts & prayers!!!

I am right there with you! The only thing about the weekends is we know that there won't be any news, so we are less apt to stalk our e-mail and our hearts are less likely to skip a beat when the phone rings!
Love Ya!
Karen
I wish I could say I don't stalk my email on the weekends, but I still do! I still love weekends, but they feel empty. I am not a Monday person, but they seem to be the thing I look forward to, even if it's just a little information!
Let's hope we all have a great week!!
You're not alone girl. It's always a relief to know that the weekend is over and the people in Guatemala are back to work on our cases!

Hi Lou--I'm right there with you about Mondays! I was so glad to see that JP is out of PGN! It's so encouraging, especially after such a recent previo. I cannot wait until we all start popping out! I hope you hear really soon that you're back in the PGN game!
take care,
Donna
Since I haven't been "working", weekends ceased to be as great and/or relaxing as they used to be, but now they have taken on a whole new downturn.
