What a blessed mama I am..........

What a wonderful day we had...... I can't even describe what it meant to me to have all 3 of my wonderful kiddos on Thanksgiving. It was AMAZING! Last year at Thanksgiving we prayed for Anne Pearce and thanked God that He was sending her to us. It was so hard not having my daughter with us for all the holidays, but I knew that this year would be different. Thanksgiving is all about family...... I sure am thankful for all God has given me! The following pictures are of my biggest blessings.......

Thanksgiving Eve....helping Mommy cook. (that's Nat on the phone)
" Helping" Mommy in the kitchen...
Anne Pearce's first bite of Thanksgiving dinner. It was turkey, of course.
I like this stuff!
AP's plate of green bean casserole, sweet potato souffle, dressing, turkey, and limas.
The big kids and Grandmama....
Hey Aunt Jenny!!!! What does this remind you of????
WE missed you, Aunt Jenny!
Paw Paw! Great job on the turkey....

After lunch AP climbed up with Paw Paw to play with Muffin.
She really does like her even though she has this funny look on her face.
Can you tell what she's holding??
Hey Muffin!
Grandmama, Look at me!

What a fantastic day for Cameo and Rose!

Look at these angels straight from Heaven!
Miss Valentina Too Pretty for Words
Mr. Brody Drop Dead Gorgeous

I am so thrilled to see 2 of my favorite mommies with their DARLING babies FOREVER!!! It has been a long road to Valentina and Brody, but God's promise has been fulfilled! It's the best thing in the world to see children become a part of their forever families, and I am so blessed that God sent both of these women to me!!!! CONGRATS!!!!!!!!

I am feeling some better.....it's just a long road back to whatever normal is for me. I've been resting as much as I can......What sucks is that I am supposed to be in ORLANDO at DISNEYWORLD with my entire family..... I just couldn't do it. Andrew made the decision last night that I just couldn't push it....It would have set my recovery back bigtime, and it's just not worth it for a few days of fun. I just really miss my sister and niece.....Now I can't wait for Christmas when they are coming home. For now I'm just sleeping and resting every opportunity I can. I want to thank all of your for your sweet comments, well wishes, and prayers. I feel blessed to have so many supportive people in my life. I may never have met you, but I love you all!!!!

What a bummer.....

I don't talk much about my health......Sometimes I like to pretend like everything's just fine with me.... Today I was brought back to the real world. I had my normal drs. appt. today and was expecting my normal good news. Didn't happen. In fact, I'm not doing well at all...... My blood pressure was very low, and I am having some issues with my heartbeats. It's going very fast then stopping until my pacemaker kicks in. This is normal....My pacemaker doesn't let my rate go below 60, but if my heart is beating fast, like in the 90's to 100's then it drops to 60, I miss a couple of beats. It takes my breath away. That has happened a lot lately, and I've been having more chest pains. We have had some very stressful situations at our house lately, and my body just doesn't handle it the way a "normal" person does. I had a rough few days around Halloween, and I just haven't recovered. Tomorrow I go to the outpatient services at our hospital to get a bag of IV fluids....that usually helps. I'm not looking for sympathy... I am asking for paryers and good wishes to get my body back on track.....

Love to you all...

Please go to Angel's blog.....

Her posts from Eagle's Nest reminded me of the reason we adopted in the first place. God used Angel to remind me of His plan. I see all those orphans, and I KNOW we HAVE to give another child a loving family someday.......... Thank you, Angel, for sharing your journey with us, and I'm claiming a spot on the next trip! Get your Kleenex ready for the video.

Pretty Baby!

We had a mini photo shoot today after church. AP stayed in the nursery for the first time. She did really well, although she was ticked at me when I picked her up..... She was like, "Where have YOU BEEN?!?!?!?!" She kept screaming MAMA!!! MAMA!!!! MAMA!!!! It's hard to leave her, but it's good for her (and me). I felt spiritually renewed! Here are some pics: What do you guys think of the new dress?

You have NO IDEA how much I HATE this....

Aunt Alisha, I THOUGHT you LOVED me! I am SO embarrassed having to wear this shirt for EVERYONE to see!
I'm too embarrassed to show my face to the public!
I just don't know how to deal with this loss!
AWWWWWW, it's all fun! I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!
My mommy says you better enjoy it while you can.... Next year is a whole new ballgame! She also said that you'd better be nice, so she won't kick you out of the car on the way home next season!

Alisha, you can NEVER call me a sore loser! Alisha and I have been "discussing" today's game for WEEKS. I made a deal with her that if LSU beat my UofA (which they did :() that I would put AP's pic up wearing some "questionable" clothes! Aunt Alisha, Uncle Duce, Noah, and Mari, this is just for you! All I can say is watch out next year!!! ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!!!
